We’re halfway there! Have you gotten your writing mojo going yet? I’m gonna take a break after this post and let these topics sink in.
Upcoming I have posts on how to market and advertise your writing through various social networks, along with some online groups you can join to maximize your hits.
Now let’s get to the topics!
41. Seek out unknown bloggers and share their wisdom with the masses – There’s a lot of really good sites out there. @1938 media at one point expressed his frustration that some of the top sites out there don’t come close to the content of some of the unknowns he’s come across in his time on the net. That being said, I’m sure you’ve found some sites that are real gems and it would do you some good to share them with the masses. Not only does it establish credibility for you by being a connector, but that’s how you build relationships with other online content creators.
42. Expose the supposed A-list bloggers – There’s a lot of pundits out there that aren’t worth our time. If you’ve got the wit for savvy and witty satire, deconstruct some of these supposed A-list bloggers and create sites that raise awareness to certain issues by providing the readers with a different perspective. Make sure that you are within legal limits, but as someone who has not drank the kool-aid, you could lead the charge to question.
43. Praise a corporate blog that does it right – Just because you can go online does not mean you’re doing it right. Too often companies take the step out and make drastic mistakes that can cost them dollars, customers, and reputation. During your explorations on the net, have you come across a company doing an amazing job with their online presence? If so, direct traffic there by sharing what they are doing right, and rally support for the brand.
44. What does it take to be a top blogger? – Do you think you got what it takes? Do you have the metrics to prove it? If you do, share you experience with the world, and help others achieve their best. Leadership is not really measured by how far and how long you stay ahead of the game, but by how many people you can bring up with you. If you can teach it, you know it!
45. Explain why people fear online media – We’ve all come across these people at one point or another. Technology and the openness of online media is very intimidating for people not used to the medium. How do you help them overcome, what do you target first? I really feel like online tools can be just useful or harmful as the person who uses it.
46. Explain your take on some of the latest Internet memes – Something is always happening online, and internet memes can take flight in a matter of minutes. Share your thoughts on these memes, and explain where they came from for those that are not familiar with them or even what a meme is. There’s a lot of room for creativity and fun for these types of topics, so let your hair down and share in the laughter with this light hearted idea.
47. Explain how you can make money online – Bloggin-ads was originally set up to help bloggers understand what attracts readers to the site and how they can monetize on it. Some of these topics alone could draw high traffic numbers to your site. If you’re making money, share with people the tools you are using, and explain how anyone can do it. There’s a lot of tools and opportunities out there, monetizing your efforts makes sense for something you love so much.
48. Explore Google AdWords – Take a look at the biggest topics in Google AdWords and pick a few to write about. It’s interesting because using the word in your post and using the words in you article really gives you an edge for increased Google presence.
49. Have a hobby, there’s a topic! – Take anything you are good at, model trains, stamp collecting, beer drinking, photography, there are sure to be others out there with the same interest. Share your perspective with your hobby; include pictures, movies, and written explanation on the steps and processes you follow for success in what you love.
50. Share your ideas on posts to make the top of sites like Digg or Reddit – Are these articles a result of gaming the system? There’s a lot of people out there that have strong feelings regarding the articles that are making the top of the pile. Have your posts ever made it? If not, what are you thoughts on the whole issue. No fear, be yourself and get a conversation going on this topic.
