Have you ever wanted to make money through affiliate marketing? Do you even know what affiliate marketing? What this basically means is that you are selling products for a company, but receiving some sort of commission if the product is sold or clicked on. When the product link is clicked on, it is called a lead, but when it is sold, it becomes a sale. Depending on your background in the “affiliate” business, you will notice that you receive different type of products to advertise, which may pay you high or pay you low. I can say that most of us don’t even qualify for the affiliate marketing business because some of us can’t seem to generate enough visitors each month to receive these type of sales. Of course learning it might be a difficult task, but it is pretty darn simple when you follow Zac Johnson.

Background - Zac Johnson’s About Page

Zac Johnson was probably a Super Affiliate upon being given birth to. As he was young, the only thing he dreamed about was to make money and it soon increased over the years. What makes Zac different from us is that when he was young, he was already a marketer.

“During fourth grade, Marvel Comic Cards were big in my school. What I would do is buys packs of cards for $1 each (with 12 cards per pack). I would then bring them to school and sell them at lunch for around .25 per card. Other kids would buy the cards with their leftover lunch money. Later on in intermediate school, the real money was in soda! You’d be amazed how many kids would prefer soda over the school’s selection of Snapple/Milk or Water. Of course as we are getting older, kids are having a little more money to spend. Buying a 12 pack of sodas for a couple bucks then selling them for .75 a can is a great profit.

As time passed, Zac realized the potential of the “Internet” and decided to join his first affiliate, Pacific Coast Feather Company, click program. Back then the earnings per click (EPC) were pretty high for being $0.01, but the minimum payouts were still too high for some people to obtain. He eventually realized there was a bigger potential out on the Internet and started experimenting with many affiliate programs such as eAds, AllAdvantage, and Amazon.com . With so much experimentations, Zac found out there is free stuff that could be obtained. WebSponsors (now ValueClick) was the place where letting others fill out surveys or complete offers would give commission.

In 1998, Zac decided to open up his own network, MoneyReign Network. After a couple attempts, he was finally accepted into PostMasterDirect.com (now Return Path), which sends leads to its subscribers. Even with the birth of the MoneyReign Network, Zac felt the need to make his business grow further and this resulted in meeting many big companies back in the days. Remember that at this time, Zac was still in high school, but he was able to do so much more than an average student could do.

The Super Affiliate’s Tips

Now I’m not familiar with all the sites that Zac run through his network, but I’m very familiar with this named blog, ZacJohnson.com . Zac doesn’t make a few hundred dollars a month because he makes tens and thousands of dollars, which allows him the freedom he deserves. Of course most of us think of the stereotypical rich-person not giving back to the community, but you’re wrong if you think Zac is the same.

There are great things to learn from this Super Affiliate and I have clipped a few posts for you guys to take a look at. I’m sure you’ll be amazed at what Zac can do.

I think that Zac Johnson’s blog is definitely a blog that people should consider subscribing to or paying more attention to. Everyone wants to earn money online nowadays and most do fail. I’m sure this “Super Affiliate” is able to teach all of us some tips because I might consider making a few other sites using the methods shown on his blog.

Besides from all the tips and strategies, Zac provides a section where payment proof is provided for various affiliate companies. I know that we’re using his affiliate link to sign up, but I really don’t mind because I’m being led into the right direction :)

Very nice review and good to know Zac and I have something in common. I used to sell Little Debbie’s during class for 50 cents each ($1/box with 6 in a box). Although, what I couldn’t sell I ate. Guess that explains my name :/

I was actually following some of Zac’s posts. He apparently knows a thing or two about affiliates and what that’s all about and can be useful for a new blogger like myself.
