A lot of you bloggers including myself are still trying to earn some type of income from blogging, but some big guns are making more than enough. These big guns have money to throw everywhere when some of us little ones barely have enough to shoot out of our other end. I’m not necessarily saying that the bloggers with money throw money away on unnecessary things, but some might. Should us bloggers know that saving money is the key here because blogging might not last forever?
Gambling is a huge problem in some areas and I’m sure a majority of you guys know someone close that gambles. Gambling hurts close relationships because a gambler always lose, but of course there are selective ones that are very lucky. Going into a casino is basically going into a rigged community, and losing always makes you think you will win it back.
What does blogging have to do with gambling?
There’s no similarities between the two hobbies, but I do want to make a point with money. I’m sure you guys have seen Shoemoney’s recent 2nd place win at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. Now I don’t know if there was a wager or how much it was, so I’m just going to assume he put in $100 as a wager. Well, Shoemoney is probably the bomb ass poker player, but if he loses, that’s $100 out of his pocket. Losing hurts no matter how much money you have, but it seems like it doesn’t really stop the Shoe because he only makes about $200,000/year from his blog. Here’s where the part where blogging comes in to make a point. Blogging is not an easy way to earn a living for most of us and wagering $100 on a poker game just hurts. Instead that $100 should be placed in investing towards your own blog or investing through advertising. Remember that blogging money is hard to come by, so spend it wisely and on something that is very worth it.
p.s. I’m sorry Shoe for putting you as the example, but I know you don’t mind 
What if there is no other choice?
If there is no other choice, but gambling, then a least know where to gamble. Gambling online is probably an easy way for a blogger to multi-task when typing up important posts. This is probably the only way for a blogger to continue his/her work. The invention of an online casino is both a good and a bad thing. The good thing about having an online casino is that there are less problems like drunk driving or getting into a fight when you lose. The bad things about an online casino is that casinos are almost everywhere now and having them online just makes thing worse. As if we don’t lose enough money to the government already…*cough* stupid Bush *cough cough*.
When a man or woman wants to gamble and there is no way to stop him or her, I suggest you just let it be.
