My idea has always been to save money….I’m very much a frugal spender !!.I definitely save money….keeping a check on some unnecessary expenses.At the same time,I have fun hanging out with my friends once in 2 weeks or so.So,I am not deprived of fun either…as of now,I am living peacefully.My family background isn’t that great that I could spend lavishly……

Others ideas differ in this debate…and that is because of their mindset or background(the way they are brought up)!!.

And thanks for that review of moneyning.com

$$.. we can’t do with or without it. Interesting post how one can splash lavishly on certain items but hold back on necessities. I personally feel that moderation in spending and on occasions rewarding oneself with gifts to reward oneself would be the way.

First off - thanks for the great review of MoneyNing. I have checked out his site and will continue to check it out in the future.

On to my thoughts on your article. Here is my thinking on money. It controls us. Broken down to the most basic levels it controls every aspect of our lives. We have to pay for food to live. We have to pay for the roofs over our heads. We have to pay to go from point A to point B to make the money to pay for everything else. etc etc etc. It is for those reasons that I both love money and hate it. Many times I find myself almost depressed and frustrated with my job, which I love most of the time, but others I can not believe that I go to work each day just to make the little pieces of paper and coins that are needed to survive day in and day out. It seems like a pretty pointless existence when you look at it that way. But I guess there is a point to our lives - make money to survive.
We never seem to have enough and we always seem to want more. We always NEED more. So ultimately our lives completely revolved around….money.
