This past Sunday, 12/9/07, Bloggin-Ads reached its one month mark. It has finally reached one month for my wife and I and we’ve come a long way with this “reviews” blog. We have rised from ZERO to over 180+ RSS subscribers in just a month of time and it just boosts up my confidence because you guys love my posts. The only problem now is that I don’t receive much controversy back from other blog owners or blogs that I review. It just seems like I’m still not getting the word out that Bloggin-Ads wants to provide “FREE REVIEW MEs’” instead of charging. On a side note of that, a lot of blogs are also not appreciating the reviews by providing a small linkback or a post. What happened to the blog hospitality?
What is Bloggin-Ads doing?
Last week’s review I posted screenshots of the traffic I’ve been receiving to my blog and some of you still wonder how I’m receiving so much subscribers and viewers. The technique I’m using is called “free marketing”, which basically means sites that provide free publicity. I know my posts does not receive as much attention to give me a front page on Digg, but it does give me about 50-100 visitors a week. Add that onto the traffic I get from Stumbleupon and other bookmarking sites, it makes a huge difference. 
With that said, I want to introduce you guys to Entrecard (yes, I’m the last one to post about this). I didn’t post about Entrecard before because I wanted to experiment with it and I’m amazed at what Graham created despite him giving up on Million Dollar Wiki. I’m lucky I joined Entrecard when it first started and now it costs about 100-130 credits to advertise on my blog, which is a huge return. The return is used to process ads on bigger blogs, which include ProBlogger or John Chow…and it’s free.

To this date, Bloggin-Ads have received a total of 3 contributed posts, which are here, here, and here. Contributing a post to Bloggin-Ads does not mean you have nothing in return. You will receive a 1-3 permanent backlinks here on this blog and receive quite some of my visitors to your blog. If you’re thinking to publicize your blog more, contributing to this blog is definitely something to consider. I always appreciate help that I receive because writing these posts actually take me anywhere from 1-3 hours after research. Adding that to my full-time student status makes it almost impossible to blog, but I do enjoy it! Make sure you check out my submit a post section and submit something if you wish to gain some backlinks and publicity.

Doing blog reviews is a difficult job for this blog because 90% of the reviews are done in detail, which takes up to 3 hours of time. Working so hard paid off when I received a wonderful e-mail by Juliette thanking me for the review.
