Motive Interactive an online advertising company established in 2003 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, now based out of San Diego, California offers advertising solutions that are innovative and yet simple to use. The hallmark of Motive Interactive success in this highly competitive industry is their attention to detail and their relentless efforts to help publishers maximize their revenue while ensuring that advertisers and agencies reach their targeted audience. Coupled with their unique distribution opportunities and customer service second to none in the industry, Motive Interactive is poised to become a leading force in the Affiliate Marketing Network industry.

Motive Interactive first released their first version of Advent – a groundbreaking Affiliate Marketing Network Platform earlier this year amidst much fanfare. The first version of Advent was more of an Architecture release introducing their performance-based CPA network and performance lead generation platform that featured streamlined campaigns with ease-to-use state of art tools. Now, the Affiliate Marketing world is bracing for its second release – Advent 2.0 - packed with more publisher centric and advertiser features and an enhanced lead generation platform that is truly ahead of its time.

Background

Motive Interactive, like many industry leading companies are not without their secrets of success – it’s the superior intellectual power and experience of their staff that work tirelessly to come up with the next generation of Affiliate Marketing Networking and performance leads generation platform.

Brendan Smith – entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Motive Interactive was quite an accomplished internet marketer himself before joining NetCreations, a leading opt-in email marketing company with direct clients like MSNBC, CNET, ZDNet to name a few. Brendan also brought with him his association with trade and standards organization like Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Lead Generation Committee, and The Online Lead Generation Association (OLGA) where he is a founding member. Motive Interactive Online Advertising Marketing is also blessed with bright engineers and senior management who came from reputable networks like ValueClick Media, DoubleClick, and 24/7.

Features

Advent 2.0 is an advanced performance Ad Network that seamlessly integrates a publisher centric advertising network with a direct performance Leads generation network. Most Affiliate Marketing Network provides one or the other but not both.

It has the following main features that even other Affiliate Marketing Networks envy:

Control Panel/User Interface

Advent 2.0 offers a clean and streamlined User Interface that enables publisher to manage their offers, campaigns and performance statistics quickly and efficiently by sorting them according to CPA, CPA (direct post), and CPS, and filtered by Co-Registration, Email, Incentivized, and Web Placement traffic types.

Advent 2.0 makes heavy use of AJAX – a leading edge technology that allows certain segment of the web page to load without ever the need to refresh – the effect is a rich desktop-like user interface experience for the user. For instance, if you click on one of your offers, the segment of the offer will open up with more information in its place without having to refresh the page or popping up a window like other non-AJAX enabled Affiliate Marketing Networks’ site. If you like what you see, you just click “Apply” to submit your application for the offer. The advantage of this is that you are off to applying for the next offer without ever waiting for a response – this saves you lots of time!!

Also, once you’ve been approved for an offer, selecting the banners and ad creative for it is a breeze with Advent 2.0 Control Panel powered by AJAX technology, by just positioning your mouse over it to see the banner and the Ad Creative. There is no annoying popup all over the place and wasting time waiting for the Banner to load and render itself.

Reports section or Campaign Statistics section in Advent 2.0 enables you to measure important campaign performance metrics across all time periods, campaigns and payouts in multiple perspectives including ‘effective’ perspectives like eCPM and eCPL. Reports can be filtered based on different performance criteria, and can be exported in various popular formats like PDF, EXCEL and CSV.

To enable finer grain of reporting capability based on publishing channels, Advent 2.0 like other Affiliate Marketing Networks also allow the usage of SubID’s to be added to campaign URLs.

Signing Up

The sign up process for a Publisher at Motive Interactive is quick and easy with the minimal of information required to get you started. The approval is sent to you via email within the next 24 hours and it’s usually quicker than that. As with any other Affiliate Marketing Networks, tax forms are required to be completed and faxed in before any payment can be made to you.

You would be assigned an Account Manager at Motive Interactive upon approval, and communicating with your Account Manager is never been easier by opening up a chat window.

Payment

This is an exciting part for all of us and Motive Interactive doesn’t disappoint here. Motive Interactive payout threshold is $50 and it’s paid on a Net-15 basis. Payment can be made to you through check, bank transfer or PayPal. My personal favorite is PayPal which I find is a rather rare payment method among other Affiliate Marketing Networks.

Referral Program

Motive Interactive referral earnings program is 5.5% lifetimes referral earnings.

The referral system is currently being tracked manually with reports each month via a unique referral link and a number of banners are available as well by request – signup to our referral program is usually approved within hours.

With the release of Advent 2.0, full daily, weekly, monthly reports will be available as well as a unique tracking link, and banners available from the referrals tab in off our dashboard. If you already have an account under the old system, don’t fret, it will be automatically moved over to the new referral earnings reporting system.

Rewards Program

In order to reward and encourage affiliates Motive Interactive offer a reward system as well. Same as referral program Motive Interactive will need an icon and link in the side navigation area that takes publisher to a page where they see the stats.

Rewards are paid each month based upon a publisher’s commissions for the previous month.

The reward payout starts at 1% then increases to 2% the higher the tier. The current payout tiers for the rewards program are as follows:

. $1,000 – $10

Welcome to the first review for the Bloggin-Ads network in quite some time. I thank Stephen for providing me the opportunity to write some reviews, giving me an opportunity to see what you, the community of bloggers following Blogging-Ads, have produced, written for, and stand behind. Thanks!

Now to jump right in…

I had the chance to thoroughly go through www.energybloggers.com and educate myself on a topic that I was not well informed in. This site has a very eco -friendly tone to it, but more importantly it’s intelligent and does not seek to demean itself with useless banter, but rather promotes smart conversation. On a hot button topic like alternative fuel and energy sources, it’s been known to bring out the worst in people, and lead conversations into a less than educated territory, but Energybloggers does an excellent job of keeping everything tactful, useful, and insightful.

At first glance the site is not as aesthetically appealing like other, more advance sites. While that might be one of the few critiques of the site, you don’t come to Energybloggers for the pretty bells and whistles, you come to learn. The layout is easy on the readers to find what they need, and there is plenty of information for them to review with the top bar, more personal links, followed by the second menu bar which leads to the “meat” of the site.

The options detailed for you are as follows:

Featured: This details some of the latest articles written about energy studies, usage, alternatives, and other breaking news. I was surprised at some of what I read, but most importantly, it opened me up to new ideas and honestly provided me topics to converse about with others in my office. I personally had thought about alternative sources of energy, clean energy and going green, but this site does a great job of capturing the scope of this field.

Alternative Energy: The listing is layed out similar to Featured, but focuses mainly on alternatives to standard energy uses, and focuses more on solar, wind, and food sources as a way to power your day. Amazing articles!

What’s New/What’s Good: Again, layed out very similar to other sections, but selects different articles based on relative newness and what is popular among the readers. A great way to introduce a newbie like myself to the site. I actually started on these two links because if others found these article interesting, it would be a great way to jump in and perhaps find common ground with other readers.

Opinion: Unfortunately this section is obviously underutilized. Comments and interaction is very minimal based on what I see. This is unfortunate, the topic is definitely noteworthy, and there are plenty of alternative energy leaders out there that this site would be another great place to comment, congregate and leave their educated and well thought out commentary topic. Perhaps the opinion section should be highlighted throughout the site. I’ve noticed the sections are laid bare on the right hand side, and polls and other interactive properties might engage the readers a bit more.

Video: Taking the site up a notch, the videos section allows readers to visually participate in the site and watch first hand some of what this site shares. Why read when you can watch? Well this site offers a bevy of interesting videos for those looking for a bit more information.

Over the site is amazing. Aside from some of the visual and layout aspects, I find this site worth the time to read through, especially if you are either a fan of alternative energy or looking to learn more. I’d like to state that this site is also patriotic, symbolized by the American Eagle that is found on just about every page of the site. I personally think this is overkill, but I get the message, and it’s a good one. Dependency is another hot topic of the people, and perhaps should be highlighted in the opinion section.

Kudos to Energybloggers!

Choosing something is very hard in life if you’re an indecisive person. Don’t worry though because it’s a natural thing if you can’t decide which to choose. If you run a money making blog or you’re trying to make some money off advertisements on your blog, I’m sure you’ve probably tested a whole bunch of different advertising networks. Some of the big names are Google Adsense, Bidvertiser, or even John’s TTZ Media. There are just so many that choosing the correct advertisement network to use on your blog is just very difficult. No matter what you choose, they’ll probably only meet your standards, but not your readers.

Ad networks are pretty there to give some incentive to bloggers through clicks and impressions. Most networks only pay you depending on how many clicks you receive, but I know there are some that pays strictly on impressions only. Impressions is depending on how many visitors you get to your blog that loads the ad campaigns that the networks give you.

There are many different ad campaigns that you could choose from to meet the topic of your blog. Google Adsense tends to match your keywords to their database and provide ads based on that, but you could pretty much choose what you want in your Adsense account dashboard. Having the correct targeted ads on your blog is a huge thing if you wish to actually receive clicks and earn money.

Lets say for example that your blog is about dogs and cats. If you’re visitors are coming to your blog and seeing that your ads are for computers or houses, you’re probably not going to get a click. This is an example of a non-targeted ad. Some cheap ad networks just place any type of ad on your blog and these are the ones you steer clear of. You would never want a porn banner or porn links to pop up in your blog’s content because it’ll definitely turn away your readers.

This comes to a great point about having banner ads or text link ads. It actually really depends on what you would like to see roaming on your blog, but some ad networks suck at one or the other. The banner ads I’ve seen are the ones that actually don’t relate to what you want. This is due to a poor system that the network uses to match your keywords or your specific options. Your best bet is that text link ads would be small enough to miss your readers’ eyes if there is a mistake.

It is very difficult to choose the right company that would meet your requirements no matter what you are seeking for. You would practically have to test every single one before you find one that meets what you need. This is where I’m going to give you a heads up on my buddy Tyler Cruz’s latest updated project.

Tyler has been working on his site, PublisherSpot, for some time now and it has actually been online for over 2 years. He recently did some major updates on the site and it’s actually going to blend in very well with the topic of choosing the right ad networks.

How would you guys react if I tell you that PublisherSpot is actually a directory full of advertising network reviews. That’s right, choosing the right ad network is a lot easier now because Tyler does in depth reviews of each network.

The reviews are done by creating a new account, and spending 6-12 hours testing the network itself. No one would have to worry about the reviews being rigged because everything is done with a new account and anonymously. It provides a ease of knowing that the reviews really are showing what an ad network does to its publishers.

I’ve actually checked out a few of the network reviews done on PublisherSpot and I must say that the reviews discuss everything of the particular network.

Features

Controls

Available Types and Formats (sizes)

Reporting (how your ads are clicked and when)

How To Get Started

Referral Program

Payment

Support

Summary

As you can see, PublisherSpot allows any blogger or website owner to do a bit of research on of an ad network before going forward with ad placements. I’m pretty sure some of you guys have tested out ad networks that pay a lot higher than others, but totally suck in tracking clicks and sending out payments. Since PublisherSpot is an open community to anyone, you could vote on a 1-10 scale of that particular network. This pretty much allows a better feel of how others like or dislike an ad network.

I must say that when coming to getting paid on ad networks, it is very important. If you’re a blogger that just places ads on your blog for the heck of it, then I bow to you, but most bloggers place ads to just earn a few cents per click. Most of the networks require a minimum of a least $20 with some that have exceptions to that. The thing that I find hilarious is how ad networks start “failing” when they’re about to send out your payment.

There could be reasons such as fraud clicks, wrong ad placements, tracking errors. The problem that I find that actually causes a lot of problems is where the ad networks pays out to. Now most of us have Paypal to receive money, but some ad networks require accounts to AlertPay or other sites. I find this very inconvenient when you know that you won’t be able to withdraw your money. The next best thing to do is to just spend it, but you won’t be saving anything.

The latest PublisherSpot feature is their search function of going through ad networks in the directory that matches what you would like. It’s really cool how I would be able to find a network that pays by Paypal or has a high referral program. It saves a lot of time and a lot of work when you realize that PublisherSpot provides everything you will need.

The Critique

Great work on getting PublisherSpot redone and running again. These type of sites really do help us bloggers realize what we’re actually looking for. It saves a lot of time when we don’t have to do all the dirty work However, there are some problems that I see that may require some of your attention.

The width of the site seems a bit small, so it’ll look horrible on high resolution monitors.

The blog should be updated each day just with a small summary of a previous ad network review.

A commenting system for the vote system should be implemented asap, but I understand you’re currently working on it.

Voters should have to register before they are allowed to vote. This would allow the voting system to have a more realistic result.

After reading this post, I hope that you guys would realize that there are many ad networks out there and you really need to choose the right one if you wish to start publishing ads on your blog. Tyler created PublisherSpot just to help all of us, so I highly suggest utilizing the site to help your blogging venture.

Money, money, and money. That’s what most of us think about when it comes to living. Sure some of us love to live life to the fullest by not thinking about obstacles, but money hits most of us in the behind because almost everything these days require cold hard greens known as, money. Now earning money is the hardest part of growing up because when you’re a kid, your parents would be the ones giving you money for lunch or the ones that would buy you toys. As you get older into your teen years, you would realize that money is harder to obtain because your parents may not be the ones supporting you as much anymore. Now that you realize that you would have to work for money, how are you going to spend it?

The economy is in fact a lot worse than before and I don’t even know who I can blame it on? George W Bush? Scientists? We can’t really blame anyone for the economy changing because one way or another, we’re somehow at fault. Some of us may be contributing more to the economy change and some of us may be contributing a little. No matter what, we’re the ones at fault.

The Problem

As prices go higher in supplies, vegetables, wheat, the prices of grocery in markets and restaurants would change. The restaurants and markets don’t want to lose profit, so raising the prices will be the only way to cope with the new priced economy. As prices go up for daily necessities, some of us may not have the money to purchase everything we need, which includes food. The result is the government decides to raise the minimum wage to an amount more feasible to citizens, so they could purchase the same necessities as they did before. Here in California, the minumum wage changed 2 times in 2 years. The original minimum wage was $6.75 and it changed to $7.50 in 2007. We’re now in the year 2008 and the minimum wage here has raised to $8 per hour of work. The government thinks it was a good idea to have these raises in wages, but because of the wage increase, inflation kicked in and if you live in California, you would notice that everything is going up in price. The only thing that I know that is still cheap is the dollar menus at McDonald’s, Burger King, or Wendy’s. Hell no I’m not going to eat fast food every single day, so something has to be done to the financial plans.

Being Frugal

First of all, what does frugal really mean? There are a lot of post titles and even domain names being used with the word “frugal” in it. Here’s the definition and it shouldn’t be too difficult to understand.

1. economical in use or expenditure; prudently saving or sparing; not wasteful: a frugal manager.
2. entailing little expense; requiring few resources; meager; scanty: a frugal meal.

Soooo…the point of being frugal means that you’re saving rather than spending or using. This could be anything from using too much resources, too much money, or too much gas when in fact you could be saving more on your part to help yourself and/or your family. It isn’t always a bad thing if you’re being called frugal because it could help you in most cases rather than hurt you.

Saving Too Much

First I’m going to discuss how it could be a bad thing to save too much money. When you become a frugal spender, you tend you save money whenever you can, but sometimes even at times where you do not need to save. For example, if you’re at an amusement park and you’re very thirsty, the first thing you would want is to purchase a bottle of water or a bottle of soda. After seeing the price tag of $3 and $4 respectively, you tell yourself that you won’t need to purchase it and would rather wait until you go home. Well, the human body needs liquid (especially water) when it is dehydrated, so if you decide to be frugal and save on purchasing some liquid.

Because you decided to save some money, you probably felt miserable because your body was just way too dehydrated. This is an example of saving way too much money. I know it’s not one of the best examples, but I tried . A personal experience of mine is my family. My family are very frugal spenders that save money whenever there’s a chance to. I had no idea my parents had so much money hidden and just within 2 years, they purchased a used BMW X5 and a Mercedes ML320. I’m not trying to brag, but I just wondered where that money came from because I want a new car to drive…:-( . When I talked to my dad about the cars, he told me that it was what he always wanted, to drive a luxury European car. With that said, I knew that he has deprived himself for a very very long time and just barely realized that he should spend the money now before there is no time left. My parents still have a long time to live, but you should have fun whenever you can.

Having fun is what a person needs because when you get older, you would realize all the fun times you missed because you were being too frugal. Thankfully my wife has taught me that life is all about fun and it takes your wherever it wants, so you might as well make the best out of it. You never know what may happen tomorrow.

Spending Too Much

When you decide not to save and be a frugal spender, you may be spending way too much money. Purchasing your daily, monthly, or yearly necessities is all you need as the bare minimum. Of course you would need to spend money to have fun (like I mentioned above), but some spenders go overboard and purchase everything they see. These type of spenders aren’t just window shoppers because they purchase everything they like in a store.

I’m going to base this again on my personal life. My aunt, Judy, loves to spend a lot of money on things that are pretty much considered useless. She loves Anime, so she purchases a lot of Anime books, DVDs, and little nick-nacks. The funny thing is, she never opens any of these and never has the time to watch the DVDs or read the books. She also buys a lot of clothes, which is usually what women loves (no offense), but the tags are still on more than half of her clothes. I have asked Judy why she purchases so much junk and not save money, but there was no comment to that. She works very hard to earn her money, but in the end, she donates most of her stuff to charity (good in some cases).

Even if you’re rich and don’t have to worry about financial issues, you shouldn’t spend too much money. Lets say you’re rich because you own a few high-end stocks, but if the stocks drop down in the stock market, you will lose practically everything. If you were to have saved some money, you wouldn’t end up living poor because you made a good decision.

What Do You Prefer?

My opinion is still towards the “spending too much” side. I think it is good to really save money because it would pay off in the long run. My wife tells me that it is bad to deprive myself, but I do think it is good to save money. It could be my parents that are the ones to blame for my current personality towards spending, but if you think of it, the economy is changing way too much. Saving a few cents would be a good idea. What do you guys think?

MoneyNing Review

Background – MoneyNing About Page

David Ning is the owner of this terrific blog, MoneyNing. He is one of those guys that strives to become wealthy because he didn’t come from a wealthy family. His parents didn’t make much income and his mom fasted 1,487 days from dining out and purchasing anything unnecessary. In 1989, his family decided to move to Canada, but his father was forced to stay behind because he was afraid that he would not be able to find a new job. This actually drove his father to finding a better and higher paying job that allowed David to have all the gadgets and toys that a rich kid would have.

David has a Masters degree in Computer Engineering, but he realized how difficult it was to find a job because that industry wasn’t as popular back in 2003. He found a job at a golf course picking up balls and it made him realize that he needed a full-time job. Now this wasn’t his first hard money earning job because he worked part time at a fish and chip restaurant for 10 hours a day being a chef when he was still attending school. This all paid off when his self-rich uncle offered him a job, which allowed him to meet his current wife. Because he wants to have a family and a home, he considers money a very important factor to his life.

Tips And Strategies

There are 3 things that David stands by and hopes to master.

Earn as much as he can

Save as much as he can, as soon as possible

Learn as much as he can

What you can expect from MoneyNing.com is that David pretty much writes down all his life situations and how he works at it. There are a lot of tips and strategies that are discussed on the blog that helps everyone save some money. There are a lot of topics that are discussed such as investing, money tips, retirement, stocks, 401 plan, and more. Most of the published articles on this blog are lists that helps you save money.

Interesting Posts

I’ve been a long time visitor to MoneyNing and I learn a lot of things from his articles. I can basically say that the way my family and I lived is very similar to the way David and his family lived theirs. My family came from a very poor town in China, where the job for the residents there were to walk into the fields to farm. I’m lucky I didn’t have to endure that life, but I know how difficult it would be if I had to.

Anyways, here are a list of posts that taught me a little thing or two about saving money and spending wisely.

The Critique

David, you run a very great blog here and I’m also sure that you’re one of my regular readers too You can consider this review a token of my appreciation for always having me on your link roundup posts. Anyways, when there is a good, there’s always a bad, which I’m sure you know of. Here are a few things that requires some of your attention:

A much needed archive page. You publish a lot of great articles with tips and strategies, but it may be useless if you don’t make it easy to be found. I suggest taking a look at the archive plugin, which would gather up all your posts automatically Since you use tags a lot, you should also try to find out a way to get that organized on a page too.

The next thing you need is a contact page because you may be missing out on a lot of opportunities by not having an easy contact page. I use Contact Form 7, which is very easy to use.

Rather than monetizing with all those Google ads, you should start selling advertising opportunities. A lot of those Google ads are scams and I’m sure you don’t want one of your readers to be scammed.

A lot of your readers are probably experienced in the financial field, so if you create a forum, you should be able to utilize that with your blog.

That’s pretty much it David. I hope you like this review and I appreciate all the tips you teach me when I read your blog posts

Everyone’s dream is to come up with an idea that will revolutionize something in the world. If you look around online or in person, you would notice that there are tons of Entrepreneurs running around trying to sell you a certain product, introduce you to something, and even brag about their success. What these Entrepreneurs are trying to do is making money. Making money as an Entrepreneur is a endless task because the possibilities really varies on how the person is. Why do I mention making money in this post? It is because having enough money is the second option you can choose from when you retire. The first option you have is wait until you’re about 60-70 years old before you receive the money from your retirement plans. I surely don’t want to wait that long to retire because what would you do with the thousands of dollars you are going to get back? You’re really going to have to bust your ass by working hard if you wish to retire like an average person.

Retiring Early

Now everyone in the world would like to retire early one way or the other. Retiring early gives a person freedom from the business or working life. Some people actually love working, but retiring early doesn’t mean you have to stop working. There are a lot of retired adults going out to seek for jobs, but they don’t have to worry about problems in the financial world because if you retire early, it practically means you’re stable.

Before I go on to discuss more about retiring, I want to bring up a huge problem with people giving up education to seek money making opportunities. My wife and I hate schooling because schools don’t teach you anything you need in the real world. You are the one that learns what you need when you start seeking for a career. Take for example 2 very big online Entrepreneurs, Max and Graham. Well, they’re not that big, but they’re big in the blogosphere world. First of all, Max graduated college, but he told me his grade point average wasn’t that great and he barely passed. Now for Graham, he gave up his college education by dropping out after he received about $50-100,000 (after taxes and fees) for Million Dollar Wiki. He decided to drop out supposedly because he wants to carry on his life being a bigger Entrepreneur, especially with Entrecard. So what is the different between Max and Graham? If any online ventures fail for any of them, Max would have a college diploma to find a higher paying job, while Graham will NOT have a college diploma. If some of you guys follow the recent world economy, you would realize that education is sooooo important that jobs are being more selective. It’s basically choosing a person with higher education over the one without. Even the school you attend factors into these decisions.

My wife and I aren’t doing too well in school at East Los Angeles College, but we have made a devotion to ourselves that we will continue no matter how long it takes. It won’t be unti my wife and l I somehow score a million bucks before we quit schooling or if we graduate of course If things fail, we would still be able to continue our lives without having trouble seeking jobs. Hey, some of you guys may be more successful in life if you drop out, but I suggest not

Are You Ready?

I’m going to be straightforward with this sub-topic and tell you that if you don’t have money or some sort of platform, you’re not ready to retire at a young age. What I mean by a platform is something to hold you in place and not allow you to fall back down. If you fall back down, you won’t have anything left because 1. you have retired 2. what are you gonna do? It is pretty obvious you’re not pretty if you don’t have enough money to retire or you don’t have anything to back yourself up.

What Have You Done?

As an early retirer (I know, it’s not a word ) or a person that wants to retire, you should ask yourself first if you have made any accomplishments. If you haven’t done anything, you won’t be known as a person that is “special”. If you’re going to retire early just because you have money, you shouldn’t even bother. The young and riches are making something out of their lives by creating something for the world to see, hear, or touch.

When it comes to the online Entrepreneur world, many of them have created websites that are by far the most spectacular things that have happened on the Internet. Why is that? I don’t know, us viewers are the ones that brings the site up to being popular. I just think that if you haven’t done anything worthy of retiring, why are you going to retire when you have more than enough time in the world to think of something.

Plan Ahead For The Future

If retiring is your final decision, there isn’t anyone or anything stopping you. Retiring is not even the hardest part of retiring itself. Planning for the future is the hardest thing you have to do. You’re gonna be bored to heck even if you’re going to be a rich ass sitting at home with gigantic plasma screens or Ferrari and Lamborghinis in your driveway.

What you should you before retiring is plan on what you will do with your life. If you became rich because of being a online Entrepreneur, you continue at it and you will continue to build off your platform. You would now have the money to market anything you create with ease. Make sure you write a list of what you will do and when because when you retire, you retire. There are people that come back into the working 9-5 life, but it may be very difficult after being free

RetireAt21 Review

It seems like these days, people are retiring earlier and earlier and when I say “early”, I mean at the ages of 18-25. Look at the creator of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, for instance. The guy was just a 23 year old college student, but he is now one of the richest young adults in the world. With so much new young millionaires and billionaires, some of us may not be able to keep track, but Michael Dunlop will help you.

Background – About Page

Just when I discussed about college drop outs in the beginning of this article, I found out that Michael Dunlop is one of “THOSE” . His about information mentions he is already 21 for some reason, but if you calculate his birthday 12/20/1988, he’s younger than me and I’m not even 21 yet. Currently located in England, Sussex, Michael knew that after dropping out of college that he would have to do something before his life is over. He even mentioned this following line, “Whilst many youngsters faced with these obstacles would have turned to drugs or crime, Michael merely saw them as challenges, and his drug of choice became Online Business”. Michael may be stupid to drop out of school, but he is smart to search through the untapped leftovers of “Online Business”.

Ever since Michael was young, he has had a mind like a true Entrepreneur. With words like “I want to own a shop” at the age of 5, you already know that he has something to bring to us. He first started with an eBay business by trying to sell whatever he got his hands on, but then he decided to move on and create a website. This is when RetireAt21.com came to life, where the stories of real life Entrepreneurs are interviewed and discussed about.

Interviews

Michael has accomplished a huge feat by interviewing some of the biggest names in Internet Entrepreneurs. It is amazing at how many of these names I have never heard of before. I’m surprised at how these huge names accept Michael’s interview requests, but I guess mainly because he has made an image for himself. As I stated in the “RSS subscription” article, your image is very important.

Here’s a few interviews of a few big names out there in the Internet business:

Pete Cashmore

Aaron Wall

Carl Ocab

Nate Whitehill

It is really good that big names in the Online business are being interviewed because how else would we know more about them? Sometimes the interviews get a bit personal, but the interviewee usually doesn’t mind, so we may see a few secrets.

The Lists

This blog has very great posts besides the massive amount of interviews. The thing I like about the posts are that their usually some sort of list. I love these lists because they’re quite interesting and the statistics are pretty much true. Here’s a few posts, so you guys will know what I am talking about:

Sexiest Female Bloggers

Top 10 Make Money Online Reviews

Top 50 Young Entrepreneurs Under 30 (Frontpage of Digg + Press)

5 Soul Crushing Mistakes That Beginner Bloggers Make

These lists are quite different from what you see elsewhere. Michael has a portfolio of sites and interviews to base his “TOP” lists, so we could understand the ranks more. If I posted a list, it would probably be less accurate than his because I have nothing to support myself.

The Critique

Michael, you have a great thing going on here with the Interviews and lists you publish on your blog. Make sure you don’t give it up if someone offers you an high amount Overall, I really like your design because it makes it VERY VERY easy to search for the interviews. It is almost like a real directory of interviews LOL.

I usually make a list of things to fix, but there isn’t anything to say. Everything is so unique about your site and I like it very much. From what I’m seeing so far, you’re a very inspirational Internet Marketer. It’ll be a matter of time before you reach your own “TOP ENTREPRENEURS” list

Blogging is a gift that many would try to achieve, but it is a difficult job. When you begin blogging, typing a post is the part where you have to use your brain. You will probably spend a lot of time typing up the post, but it may not even be successful. Why do I mention that? Blog readers or first timers usually jump around the blogosphere to find posts that are suitable for the daily read, but if everything is the same, your blog may be skipped. It isn’t an inevitable thing because you can change that by using different strategies to catch your readers’ eyes. If you don’t want to limit yourself and want to move to a more successful blogging career, you must think of different ways to blog. Remember that anyone can just start a blog (free or paid) and just type up words, but only a few can think of new ways to blog. This is where VLOGGING comes into place.

VLOGGING

So what is VLOGGING really? To me, it is just a made a term that certain bloggers started using to separate themselves from the rest of the blogosphere. Just like how BLOG stands for web log, VLOG basically just stands for video log. VLOGGING is basically throwing yourself in front of a camera for a shot of fame, but through your blog. What readers love most is that watching a video doesn’t require reading, but mainly just listening. The separation isn’t the bad type either because separating yourself usually means you’re different and that is what viewers want. The keyword here is “WHAT VIEWERS WANT“. VLOGGING is actually an old strategy that I first encountered on Darren Rowse’s blog, but it got very popular during the year 2005. As time grows, more and more are joining in.

When I first opened this blog, my initial plan was to VLOG once a week, but I got too lazy and I’m camera shy, so that isn’t going to be implemented for a while. Because I have had no experience at VLOGGING, all the following steps on this post are just my assumptions and my own tips. True vloggers may think different though

How To Start

Starting a new strategy is the hardest part of being successful. VLOGGING could be the same as regular BLOGGING, but it is actually a totally different thing. Before you consider changing your blogging method, you should really decide if you have the commitment that you will put yourself against. Depending on how you take your steps that are mentioned below, VLOGGING may come easy to you and also fun

Tools You’ll Need

Alright, now you’ve decided you will give VLOGGING a try, but you don’t have the right tools to begin. What do you think you need to record yourself? Well, duh…a webcam, camera, or camcorder is the main thing you will need. I would actually go with a webcam, since it’s stuck to your computer and very simple to use, but if you want to go for quality, a camera may be better. Camcorder is good too, but it may just be too difficult to get everything up and running. After you have something with a recording capability in hand, make sure you purchase a MIC too. Some webcams come with a built-in mics, so that is a plus

If you’re looking for good deals on recording electronics, I highly suggest visiting SlickDeals to search for some good deals, otherwise you can visit a local electronics shop or a WAL-MART and search for one. It’ll be pricey, but that is the easiest way to obtain one.

Once the most basic technology is purchased, you may download any of the below to edit, upload, and implement the video on your soon to be VLOG.

Video Editing Sites:

Eyespot

Jumpcut

Avidemux

Video Editing Programs:

Mac iMovie / iLife (usually comes with your mac and easy to use)

Windows Movie Maker

Avidemux

Plugins:

Viper’s Video Quicktags – VERY easy video implementation with size changing

Video Widget – adds videos to sidebar

Smart YouTube – shows videos in RSS feed

How To Act

You’re all ready to record video posts now and you’ll need to know the following basic steps in recording this video

What to do:

Dress appropriately – Make sure you dress good, but not great when you’re getting ready to put yourself in front of the camera. Showing professionalism is a plus, but going overboard may make you look stiff. Just simple outgoing clothes or a t-shirt and pants is fine.

Clean yourself – You do not have to spike up your hair or put mousse on it, but you still have to make sure it is in good looking condition. You wouldn’t want viewers to see your morning hair, which may look like a dog was sleeping on your head the night before. Also get a clean shave or if you like to keep it natural, shape it?

Be comfortable – Being comfortable is actually the main thing to a successful VLOG video. You don’t want to be stiff when you’re speaking into the mic and looking at the camera. Show that you are comfortable speaking out. The audience is online and you shouldn’t be shy or stuck when you are about to speak. The good thing is, you’re able to edit or re-do this video to your liking.

What NOT to do:

Don’t look like shit - DO NOT and I mean DO NOT dress in PJs to be in front of the camera. I know that some vloggers probably do, but it doesn’t mean everyone can be successful in it. You also wouldn’t want new visitors to leave because of this. Shaving will make sure you don’t look like a monkey because you would just look damn dirty. LOL.

Don’t cuss – As much as I hate cussing, some of you guys just love it. I’m sure you have even watched Mr. Chow’s “VIRAL MARKETING” video that talks about…shit. Even a “fine” man like him would want to cuss once in a while, so please hold back on it. Your viewers could range from ages as low as 8 or 9, so setting an example is what you want to do.

Voice:

I gave this part its own list because it is very important when it comes to VLOGGING because depending how you speak, viewers may leave or stay.

Drink water ONLY – As much as you guys already know, water is the most important component to your body. Without water, you will start forming problems. Don’t drink coffee or soda when you shoot your many vlog posts. They’re not only bad for you, but they’ll play with your appearance. Alright, viewers may not see it in an online video, but if you become successful, you will have to meet people one-on-one.

Continue being hydrated – To emphasize water more, you must keep hydrated. Being hydrated will make you feel better and make your videos more lively.

Legato – This actually a music term that my wife and I learned in our current VOICE class. It basically means smooth and connected; without breaks. If you aren’t legato, you would be staccato, which just means the opposite. What do you think viewers want to hear? A smooth connected sentence or a cracking/breaking one?

Where To Upload?

Knowing where to upload is the final task of basic VLOGGING. Some video sharing sites provide high quality videos, but some provide lower quality ones. Even if your camera or webcam is a top-of-the-line piece of technology, some of these sites will just turn your creations into CRAP! Below is a list of video sharing sites that I have encountered:

Simpleness:

YouTube

Google Video (takes several days to show up)

Quality:

MetaCafe

Revver

SUCCESSFUL VLOGGING

Now that you have started VLOGGING, how are you going to make it successful? You already moved a step up in the blogging ladder by separating yourself from regular bloggers, but how are you going to make yourself successful in what you’re now doing? Since you worked so hard, you do not want to fail because it would just mean you wasted all your time. TIME = MONEY

Implementing Videos

Knowing when to implement video posts is needed first to make yourself successful. Some content do not require videos to tell the readers what needs to be discussed. I absolutely hate it when some VLOGGERS record themselves talking about stocks or money just like how Grace Cheng does. These type of videos require a lot of numbers and in videos, it is very hard to understand or catch certain calculations. It may be interesting to some viewers, but maybe not to others. What you want to do is implement videos that every single one of your viewer can enjoy. Make sure you know when to type a post and when to use videos. I actually recommend both typing and videos of the same post

Scheduled Tasks

Schedule yourself with different times to record your videos. Recording and editing videos could be hell, so spreading them out would probably help you out. Just like typing a blog post, video posts requires a lot of time and concentration to get things just the way you want it…PERFECT.

What I suggest is recording all your week’s worth of video posts in one day, so you don’t have to worry about it the rest of the week. You can dress up and make yourself clean once a week!

Be Happy

BE HAPPY! Your VLOG viewers will be able to see your emotion through your video. If you’re having an off-day, just hold back on recording until you feel better.

Being unique and jumping on this bandwagon early is the way to a good successful and simple blogging career.

Review of iJustine

Background – Justine’s About Page

Justine, aka iJustine, currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA as a freelance designer for graphics or web designs. She also works on video editing with her best friend/roommate, Desiree. Justine’s tagline says she is the Internet and I think it is very true. She’s on almost every single social sites online, which includes VIRB, Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, iminlikewithyou, Groovr, and the all popular Myspace.

Justine is basically a crazy video content lover and editor. Because of her success, she has been placed as staff on various big companies xTrain and GeekRiot. One of the biggest accomplishments of her career is placing as 2nd place with her friend Desiree in the 2006 Yahoo Talent Show.

Tasty Blog Shack

This blog of Justine’s is just one of many creative ideas that she works on daily. Her blog is basically a rambling blog that talks about various things happening in the world, but through videos. It seems like her talent and beauty is just catching viewers and subscribers left and right. I stumbled across this site through Justin.tv a few months ago, but she has grown into a huge phenomenal on the net.

Justine even interviews famous celebrities with her special “BACKSTAGE” passes that most of us dream of having. I must say that I really enjoy reading her VLOG posts once in a while because it is fresh. Her videos are edited to the point where a dull thing can be interesting. We just wonder how she is soooo successful..

Here are a few of her recent vlog posts that I enjoyed

As you can tell, Justine and her friend Desiree are very interesting persons I love both of them and I enjoy watching them amuse themselves with APPLE products

iJustine Live

She throws herself in front of the camera whenever she has the

chance, which is simply AMAZING. If I were to be interviewed by her, I would probably hide in the corner and cry with my wife . But enough

with her video blogging. She also puts her daily life up the now famous Justin.tv webcam site for all to see. Justine is more busy now since of all the new opportunities that are given to her, but back about 2 months ago, I would love to watch what she is doing at work or at home She has a separate site just for all her recordings, so check out iJustine.tv (not Justin.tv).

Women Are Godly

Lets see…Justine is simply amazing. I’m a guy, but all her hard work just proves to show that women are godly. I always say to myself that women are the ones that receives top priority when applying for jobs or making money. People would rather hire women than men because sex sells. Women can make money no matter what, but Justine uses her talent instead of her beauty . I assume that to Justine, talent is what brings out a person more. If I’m correct, there are more male bloggers in the blogosphere, but there are more women in the world. We need more women! Us guys are hungry to see what some of you have to present to us .

Becoming a successful blogger is a very very difficult task. Many believe that it is a simple thing and that is why there are so many new blogs each day. Many believe that quitting their 9-5 full-time job and sign up for blogging is the easy way out. Becoming a blogger is a very simple task to accomplish, but becoming a GREAT blogger is something to think about. People really think it is easy to make money by becoming a blogger, but many seem to fail after a month or two because of poor strategies and poor knowledge of what blogging is really about. Experimentation should be put into picture first before you put all of you have into blogging, which includes your full-time job, your time, and your life.

Successful Blogging

What do I mean by successful blogging? Do you know the answer to that? If you know the answer, then you do not have to continue reading this sub-topic because you understand the whole concept. Anyways, here’s my thought about successful blogging, but I may be missing a few points here or there, so you guys can help me add on to it through the comments

Successfully blogging should first start with you having the time to spend into this field of online work. You won’t necessarily get paid for it in the beginning, but you might end up getting paid for it in the future. I’m not talking about getting paid with cold hard BENJAMINS, but I mean getting paid for the time you have spent to get your blog big. This totally pays off more than getting money and this is considered successful blogging.

Here are a few things I follow to become a successful blogger:

Set a time schedule for blogging

Come up with good GREAT posts

Do not think about money, but more about the content

Blogging should not take over your life, but know how to use it

DO NOT GIVE UP (unless you blog about making money…)

I know, some of these things I still have to commit to, but I have set that goal for myself already. It doesn’t matter how long it takes to achieve the goal if it is what you really want.

Full-Time Job

I ask you new bloggers and experienced ones not to quit your part-time or 9-5 full-time job as of yet. Blogging is a serious commitment, but not everyone makes a success out of it. Blogging successfully also requires a small amount of money, which is usually for hosting (about $10/month) and a yearly domain ($6-10/year). If you wish to go big, you could also use your money on marketing your image and/or blog. This requires time and quitting your job to become a full-time blogger is not the way to go. You must first experiment and understand what blogging is before you even think of throwing in that resignation letter. Most bloggers that wish to quit their 9-5 job would usually like to make the full-time income through blogging. I would first actually ask you to create a platform for yourself before you go forward and try to make income through blogging. In the beginning months of blogging, you probably won’t see much action, but if you blog successfully, you will start to see a rise in advertising sales, sponsored reviews, affiliate marketing, etc.

Time

Is there time for you when you start blogging? Many try to become a blogger, but have no time to commit to such a task that is starting to become more difficult as the blogosphere increases in size. You must also schedule the correct time for yourself, which also means you shouldn’t chat with your buddies . There’s not much to say in this sub-topic, but I had to put it here to show that this is an important factor to becoming a successful blogger.

Life

Becoming a successful blogger is a life changing event. What I mean by life changing event is that it might ruin relationships you currently have, future relationships, or even make things better. It all depends at how you go at things and everyone is different. You are the person that chooses whether you want to continue forward or fall back. As of now, my wife and I do not know if we’re going to continue Bloggin-Ads to make it a huge success because it really has impacted our lives. There are times where I can’t cuddle or be around my wife because I have to publish a post or check my e-mail. It really is much harder than it seems, but big blogs like Shoemoney, John Chow, or Zac Johnson makes it seem so easy. It’s not really their fault (which I thought it was before) because they had to endure long journeys to get to where they are, but because they’re up there now, it’s a lot easier for them to gain things. Think about this and ask yourself if blogging is a difficult task for you or if it is impacting your life in any way.

Blogging Experiment Review

Background – Ben’s About Page

Ben Cook is the owner of this blog and he is a 23 (probably 24 now) year old husband that lives with his wife. He’s no techie like Joe Tech, but he does want to make something out of his life. What is he trying to make? He created his blog, Blogging Experiment to prove to bloggers that he can either have a successful or a failed journey to blogging full-time with a full-time income. Ben gave himself 365 days to achieve this goal and he’s arriving to the last stretch of it.

The Experiment

This experiment has gotten bloggers all over the world to try and achieve the same type of goal that Ben is trying to achieve. From the day of this post, there are about 111 days left, but time flies and we’ll soon find out what will happen with the experiment. I’ve been following the experiment for quite a few months now and it was possibly one of the reasons why my wife and I started Bloggin-Ads. Ben is a great writer and I enjoy reading these posts of his. Ben always comes up with new ways to make money and gain high readership. He experiments many different things, but also summarizes the results for it after it has been completed. His passion is great and here’s a few of his posts to show you:

Don’t Waste Your Networking: Nurture Online Relationships

Want to be a Ninja?

Your Blog Might Suck

South Park: Lessons on Blogging

Ben’s ‘TV SHOW” posts are also great comparisons to the blogging world too. I know I didn’t mention much about Ben and Blogging Experiment, but the blog name basically answers the question

What Will Happen After?

As a follower of the Blogging Experiment, I would actually like to know what will happen after the experiment is over? Many of Ben’s readers have also asked the same question, but there is no definite answer to what may happen. I think Ben should start deciding and finalizing the future of the experiment

The Critique

BEN, There isn’t much critique about the Blogging Experiment due to the fact that it has been run with much success.

I understand making money is what you are trying to achieve, but I don’t think you should continue selling your theme. If you do, you should change to a new one that is purely unique.

Your blog takes too long to load at times. You should really try post summaries for the main page. I’ve switched to that and it works A LOT better. Of course you’ll need to get a few feed plugins to fix the feed problems too, but you can contact me for that.

NEW UPDATED AND LONGER ABOUT PAGE! Readers LOVE knowing more about the blogger.

An Archive page is needed more than the pull-down menu at the sidebar.

The resources page should be updated with newer additions.

The “FREE STUFF” link to your post…you should get rid of it. It’s almost like begging for referrals. Instead, you should create a page and have all the stuff listed with small summaries.

That is basically all I can say. There aren’t any big changes you need to make since everything looks great and has easy navigation, but I suggest you to think about the critique and possibly change a few things.

Folks, I highly suggest you subscribe to The Blogging Experiment RSS feed before you actually start blogging. Even if you’re a blogger, you should still pay attention to the huge tips that Ben provides.

I know that a lot of people blog only because there is money to be gained from the venture, but not all of us can achieve this. I don’t blog completely for money, but I still need it to pay off servers and other bills (especially when I need to move to a dedicated server now). Bloggers don’t know that a blog can be on any topic (niche) you choose and there is no wrong on what you choose. Any topic you choose will be correct because you’re the one that chose it and you have interest in writing about it. There are still vast amounts of topics to be chosen from website categories, but you could also add in your own. As long as you love what you’re doing, you won’t have a problem with blogging about it and viewers shouldn’t have a problem reading what you like to write about. Remember if you like it, there’s a high chance that others do too.

Vast Choices

There are countless amounts of topics and categories to be chosen when you decide you want to open your first blog or a new blog to add to your collection (network). You don’t have to create a blog about making money or better yet, stop trying to make money online. It is absolutely difficult to start a blog about making money and try to make money at the same time. The time is too late because there are far too many blogs out there about the same topic and bigger blogs already covered all the content and material you probably just thought of.

Choosing The Right Topic

When choosing the right topic, you have to ask yourself a series of questions. The following questions are suppose to aid you in the right way and not discourage you:

Do you actually like to blog?

Do you have the time and commitment to blog?

Are you going to blog for money?

What topic are you going to blog about?

Are you sure you have interest in that topic?

Review Below:

I wrote a review for Garry Conn about a month ago, but I recently received a request from him to review his new blog. I know that there are others waiting in line for reviews and I’m still working on them, but Garry is a great friend of mine and I’m sure you guys won’t mind. Here, just check out his personal tips blog and the review I wrote about him here. Also, to make this fair, I made this a review and rambling together. I also managed to keep on topic as I’m trying to make a point that blog topics can be about ANYTHING.

The Airplane Blog Background – About Page

This is a blog focused on airplanes! I mean how cool is that to blog about airplanes?! What really amazes me is how Mr. Garry has so much passion towards what he likes and how much knowledge he has with all his topics. This blog is all about airplanes and aviation with interesting news and facts regarding those two sub-topics. All the posts are written by Garry to help the readers understand each unique airplane and the current events in the industry. Besides the written posts, there are videos and sound clips to not only let you understand airplanes, but also see and hear it for yourself.

The Focus On Airplanes

Never have I realized how many different types of airplanes there are in the world and how fascinating some of them can be. To some of us average spenders, these airplanes would cost us a fortune, but for some billionaires, planes are just toys.

Although the blog is kick starting now, Garry has opened it since July 2007, but I assume his busy schedule got the best of him. However, I did manage to take a look at the blog and find a few posts that I found quite interesting. Please do take a good at the following latest posts:

What Is The Highest Airport In North America?

Dangerous Chemical Tricresyl Phosphate Aboard Aircraft

Critique

As you can tell, there wasn’t much for me to review, but since I’ve started critiques on my reviews, Garry will receive one too >:)

Publish a few posts describing aviation terms, so readers can understand

The blog design/layout is great and suits your blog very well

You should also include some aircraft news like accidents, malfunctions, etc.

If you’re familiar with aircrafts and want to publish a few posts about it, head over to Garry’s blog and sign up to become a writer. Otherwise, please subscribe to his blog because I’m sure you’ll get some interesting facts

Interested in submitting your own review for your blog or someone else’s? Submit A Post and if your review is chosen, it will be featured here on Bloggin-Ads.com.

Computers have been around longer for over 15 years now and not to mention that the Government used computers way before us normies received this type of technology. After a few years of computers roaming around with those ginormous diskettes, compact discs were developed and widely used by the public. Now the Internet to me is actually the thing I think is the best development ever by mankind. With the Internet in place, there are no end points and ideas are basically endless. Because of the huge population in the world, technology just develops with a blink of an eye. Even if you think you are going to develop a new website, like Sitehoppin’, you gotta think again. Someone is probably thinking what you are at this split second and that is why you have to train yourself, which takes years, but worth every bit of time.

Why is my title like that do you ask? Well, you aren’t really on your topic unless of course you name your license plate after your own business. This is what JoeTech did and he’s living his name as most of you already know.

Background – Joe’s About Page

Joe is a married man in his 30s living with his wife in Phoenix, Arizona. He is such a techie that his Honda Civic’s license plate says “JOETECH”. This is the first time I’ve heard of a person naming their license plate after their blog . Why doesn’t John Chow do that to his cars? Anyways, besides the JOETECH blog, he is a co-founder of two different companies, but it isn’t even talked about in the about page

As most of you already know, a blog owner’s most important factor to running a successful blog is to provide the necessary information through the about page. I’m sorry Joe, but your about page just doesn’t hit the spot, so I winged it and used the information you provided.

A techie is always a technie

Joe is such a geek that he created a Entrecard slots and an ad space slot machine right inside his blog. I don’t know about you guys, but something like this takes a bit of time to get the coding correct. I know jack about coding these type of scripts, but it seems so easy for Joe. I guess he’s not the average Joe huh? These slot machines are no different than ones you see in a casino (online or off), but instead of winning real cash, you get the chance to win Entrecard credits or advertising spots on JOETECH. The biggest difference is all the winnings come out of Joe’s pocket because he doesn’t charge for any of this. I’ve given it a try and I won a few ad spots and some ECs

$100 monthly giveaway

This giveaway is actually the smartest linkbait technique I’ve seen so far. Yea, it’s $100 being given away each month, but the expenses are actually split amongst 8 total blogs, which includes the big names below:

JoeTech.com

Link Bait

Gorilla Sushi

CK Marketing

The Big Bald Blog

How 2 Blogger

Dot Sauce Magazine

Jason Boom

I’m not sure who came up with this strategy, but I’m assuming it was Joe since after digging up some traffic results from the past month, Joe received the most traffic from this. You could take a look of the contest here, but it ended at 12AM earlier today, so stay tuned for the next ones. The only problem is, it is pretty hard to get all the entries in, since you would have to get in on all the prize sponsors to get the most of it.
What’s so great about JOETECH?

Joe does almost everything purely at his own expense and that’s what I love about him (love in an unaffectionate way ). My blog was reviewed by him back in December 16th and I haven’t even returned the favor until now. I felt so horrible when I was typing this post because I totally forgot that he reviewed my blog for free! Yes, that’s correct, reviews are done for free on JOETECH because he focuses on preserving the integrity of his blog. Similar to Bloggin-Ads, Joe also had to change the rules a bit and be selective when it comes to reviews. I mean come on, some of the review requests I get are just horrible. I do follow the topic of this blog by reviewing all blogs, but some of the requests I get aren’t even blogs. They’re more like a page of ads. Ok sorry for that vent, but if you’re interested in a free review from Joe, go for it.

Besides all the free stuff that is provided on this blog, I do manage to get a daily good read from here. The posts are quite informative and it teaches you some things here and there, but here are a few posts that I deem excellent:

5 Ways to Find Anything Faster Online

White Label the Deli.cio.us MP3 Player in Just 4 Easy Steps

How to Protect Your Private Information From Apple

The critique

Contact page is there, but a contact form is needed immediately. Without a contact page Joe, you will lose a lot of viewers because some may think it is too difficult to contact you. You’ve mentioned you will get the form up, but it hasn’t been done for a few months now.

Search widget or area is needed for easier navigation. It was difficult for me to find some posts that I’ve read and liked back a couple months ago.

Theme is very unique and it works great. Nothing is cluttered, but I think you can replace some of your sidebar items with other stuff. I’ll leave that to you of course.

You have a $100 monthly contest running, but it’s quite difficult for some people to realize it, so you should get the word out somehow (not the small link).

Alright, that wraps it up for the JOETECH review. Make sure you guys check him out and hopefully you will subscribe to his blog. Not only are you getting good daily content, but you’ll also get an entry into the $100 monthly contest.

Interested in submitting your own review for your blog or someone else’s? Submit A Post and if your review is chosen, it will be featured here on Bloggin-Ads.com.
