What the heck am I talking about, you guys must ask. I’m pretty sure I’m correct too because the title of this post is pretty broad, don’t you think? If you’ve watched the movie, “Meet The Robinsons“, where their motto is “Keep Moving Forward”. Lets talk about the broad topic first before we continue. Most of us bloggers are adults and I’m sure most of you guys out there have jobs, unless of course you consider blogging your full-time job. I’m sure some of you are getting paid very well at your current job wages, but for some of you, you just want to quit. Quitting is an optional thing that average people usually do to acquire a much higher paying job, but this doesn’t necessarily mean you will be happy. What if you continue at your current pace and your current work, but have more joy in yourself rather than trying to stress and kill yourself over trying to make more money. That is the question.
Working online and trying to make money online is what most of us are trying to focus on these days. The Internet is simply a marketplace for high potential money-making.
I want to introduce you guys to a man that I have actually introduced before. You guys probably heard of the Zedomax Network, but if not, I’m absolutely positive you have stumbled across the drunken business over at Sitehoppin’. The story behind Max, the owner of these wonderful sites and a great friend of mine has recently gone through a hospital related situation. If you guys don’t know what Sitehoppin’ is all about, here’s a little 411 for you guys:
Max is the owner of the Zedomax Network, which consists of many different sites. One of his biggest site and oldest to date is his Zedomax Techy blog, which boasts around 20,000 uniques a month. He’s basically one of those guys that has a lot of ideas under his sleeves, which makes him tons of money.

The Situation
What basically happened was his latest creation, Sitehoppin’, is basically about being drunk and surfing the Internet with a click of the button. Well, Max decided to drink every single day while he works on this site. I personally can’t drink, but my wife can, so I don’t know how Max could handle so much alcohol. All this drinking eventually diagnosed him with alcohol poisoning, which sent him to the hospital. After about 4 days away from his drunken business, he comes back alive with a missing kidney. But guess what. His drunken business continues with more smoking and more SOJU.
What’s the point?
The point of this post is to tell you never give up on your work. If Max could get a kidney taken out, but continue to drink for Sitehoppin’, I take that is pretty darn good commitment. Sure, some of you try to make money or gain RSS readers, but tend to fail. You know what, forget about that right now. As long as you feel what you’re doing is correct, you’re the star. You do not need to have huge popularity to feel like you’ve achieved something. These things take time and they’ll slowly come, so never give up. Giving up just means you have been defeated, but remember that most people take years of hard work before their own work becomes something.

If things ever occur in your life like what happened to Max, just remember that you don’t want to give up all your hard work. We live only once and regretting is the hardest thing ever. Of course I’m not saying you should go out to drink more often like Max (no offense :)), but you shouldn’t just stop. Continue on with everything and remember that there is marketing for free if you’re trying to get your blog out. Social bookmarking sites like Digg or Stumbleupon could boost this, including a free site like Entrecard. Remember, the main thing to a person’s success is “Never Give Up”.

Agreed!! It’s very important never to give up on your dreams. But of course you have to remember that somethings are a lost cause and it could be more detrimental to continue than to give up. It’s just a matter of being able to tell the difference.
Funny Post! I never knew Max nor ZedoMax but SiteHoppin’ is thee Funniest thing i’ve seen Blogging! His post on Hangin’ a Poop whilst Plopping EntreCards from his iPhone was the Funniest thing ever!!

I agree that you should keep doing what you like, but not if what you like is slowly killing you; maybe this guy is a bit suicidal, I just hope he is not encouraging others to do the same!

Never Give up- Well nice thought mike . First i was under impression you are talking about that if you hospitalised due to heavy drinking still not give up drinking(???) but its good to see how you mould this topic to “blooging never give up” or whatever you are doing for that matter.
