I work at a cafe, and I asked one of the chefs to deep fry one for me.
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS
SOOOOOOOOOO DARN GOOD
Think chocolate donut taste. Tastes like a better version of that with caramel inside.

So, no they don’t taste gross.

Yes it is, whenever I go to the UK to visit the folks I stock up on the good candy.

I’m not into peanut butter and it seems every other item in the US has peanut butter or cinnamon in it.

@Michael - If I’m correct, Milky Way is the US version of Mars, which is from the UK. I don’t know if they still have Milky Way here though because I haven’t shopped for candy in years.
Last I recall, Milky Way had all the dark midnight chocolate flavors.

Not sure I’d want to try a Mars bar deep fried.

I was thinking the other day about how the candy bars changed from the two countries. Milky Way in the UK I like, the nearest to it in the US is the Three Musketeers bar.

You can get them in some places in England too.

I had one once, kind of like a McDonalds Apple pie I thought. Just really sweet and srispy.

In fact we asked a lady in a London chip shop to make the one I tried and she did. After which her boss came out and shouted at her for it!!
