Monetizing a site is not always hard and since Bloggin-Ads is like any other blog, we need to earn a bit of cash to pay off some bills. I’m deciding to spice things, so I’ll publish posts about programs that allows anyone to make some quick money. As you know, Bloggin-Ads does not rely on making money through blogging, but because we’re in the beginning phases of getting the blog out to people, we must make about $10-20 a month just to cover fees. I started this blog without having money and my wife and I were and still broke.
For part 1 of the easy money making series on Bloggin-Ads, I’m going to introduce you guys to Smorty. I’m sure most of you have heard of them already through other blogs, but I have just recently signed up to them to make some quick money. To my amazement, Smorty is a pretty straight forward “Get Paid To Blog” site. It took me about 2-3 days to get signed up and get my blog approved for posting. As soon as newly signed up members get approved, they would notice that there will be a few campaigns that can be selected to make some quick money. The more posts you do and the more you’ve earned means you move up the ladder to more higher campaign payouts.
Aside from getting paid to do sponsored posts, Smorty includes a referral program that earns you 5% commission of the total payments made by your referral. The percentage might seem low, but they add up if you become active in referring. The small payout and the low percentage on referrals in the beginning pays off easily because Smorty pays out on a weekly basis. Although it can take up to 5 days for your post to get approved, if you commit to your campaigns, you’re basically earning daily income. Remember to check them out!
Stay tuned and please subscribe to my RSS through e-mail and you would get notified when I publish new posts about making some easy money.

Hi there, I’m with you on making some money to pay the bills. I’ve heard of Smorty but haven’t yet signed up yet. I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that one of the requirements is that your blog be at least 90 days old. I think our blogs are the same age. Maybe I read that somewhere else.

jblu » Well, my blog is 1 month old today and I think there are exceptions to Smorty’s requirements. Just give it a try.
Oh, I see. Thanks

Just wondering. With all of these sponsored posts, aren’t you concerned about your PR? Or is your traffic substantial enough with out it? Or, has Google even found out about Bloggin-Ads.com yet? I’m asking because I recently signed up for PPP, then remembered that Google “The all powerful” was dropping PPP blogs to 0. I’m just wondering if I should continue with it or not?
Ethan Christ » Well, as mentioned, I don’t focus on earning money and the Google PR is basically used to bring up costs of advertising on the specific blog or receiving a review. People don’t care much about PR now because Google is just messing with us. To this date, I have only done about 3 sponsored reviews, but I do need it for my hosting fees. I hope that answers your question.
Mike,
I’d tend to agree with you about google at the moment, but I’d still be cautious as the online community changes its mind at the drop of a hat - maybe google pagerank will have more quality in 2008, you just never know.
