Hate The A-Listers? Talk Smack About Them!

Blog Reviews, Miscellaneous Add comments

Blogs are not just blogs anymore when there are huge competitions in the blogosphere. I hate having competition since we’re all trying to provide the same thing, which is content. What we try to gain back is a different story; when one blog tries to gain readers, while the other tries to make the most money possible. Face it, we’re probably never going to be able to become a evil Chow, but we most definitely would give it a try. The road towards becoming a successful blogger is a tough experience especially when some people are just rubbing in our faces about how much they have made or how many readers they got. Don’t you just fuc*ing hate that? Wouldn’t you guys like to have a place where you can join up with other haters to vent your feelings toward a blogger?

What I’m going to review about today in this post is not just a blog, but a blog that can talk smack about other bloggers throughout the blogosphere. Maybe I can finally talk about the people I hate…but hate is a strong word, so I’ll use “dislike” :P

Slamblogger is a place for viewers to submit their own “SLAM”, which is basically a grudge you have against the defending blog, site, or product. Anyone can get through with posting those “hate” comments without getting bashed by others. Ethan Christ is the man behind this masterpiece and he is also the owner of Poetic Money, a place where posts are all poems. Well with Slam Blogger here now, Ethan has decided to sell Poetic Money, so if any of you guys are looking for a blog ready for posts, feel free to contact him.

Why is it fun to SLAM!?

smack-john-300-x-208.jpgThe reason why people should slam each other is because there needs to be some type of controversy out there. I’m glad that this blog was actually created because now I’m able to vent my feelings towards some of the big guns out there in the blogosphere. I do apologize to Shoemoney, but I’m going to use him as an example again rather than using John Chow all the time. Basically what I want to say is that Shoemoney makes about $200,000/year, but he makes a lot of it from small tricks and strategies that he uses on us viewers. Well, I’m sure some of us tend to dislike bloggers that make money, but the usual reason is because you’re jealous. What if jealously is just an excuse? There’s actually no excuse now since you would be able to vent your feelings by submitting your own SLAM to SLAM BLOGGER. This way others can join in on the whole controversy rather than getting bashed back by the “lovers”.

Start SLAMMING!

Upon receiving this review, I was actually very curious on what Slam Blogger has to offer. I got to the site and the first thing I saw was, “John Chow dot com - A Blog About Spam”. My first reaction to that was like WHOAA!!! Now I know I’ve dissed John Chow before, but no one wants to go too far and result in a permanent ban. Ethan has GUTS!

I’m sure you guys would be VERY interested in this blog, so please check out a couple of his posts and subscribe to his feed.

Sounds like an interesting site. I have to admit though - I personally love competition because it pushes you to do better.

Why so much negativity? Why do you hate people who are doing what you want to be doing? Wouldn’t it make sense to network with successful people.

There are readers for all different types of blogs, yours too. We each have a different voice and way of writing that appeals to different personalities.

You should be thankful for the loyal readers you already have.

I do agree with you however, that it’s very unprofessional and rather slimy when some bloggers run their mouths about how much money they make. It’s getting pretty old at this point.
