Why do you hate people who are doing what you want to be doing? Wouldn't it make sense to network with successful people. There are readers for all different types of blogs, yours too. We each have a different voice and way of writing that appeals to different personalities. You should be thankful for the loyal readers you already have. I do agree with you however, that it's very unprofessional and rather slimy when some bloggers run their mouths about how much money they make. It's getting pretty old at this point.
