Blogs are popping up in the quantity of thousands to ten thousands each day. I would say that most people blog now because there’s the issue of money being involved if the blog is successful. Of course this is only my opinion, but most blogs I’ve seen lately are there just to make money and have no content. With that said, if you’re actually a full-time blogger, you might want to consider what I’m about to discuss about right now.
As stated by the United States Department of Labor, a full-time worker is working a total of 40 hours per week, with additional hours counting as overtime. The minumum wage is currently $7.25 with a $0.25ยข increase appearing by January 1, 2008. Well I wouldn’t want to get off topic now, so lets consider successful full-time bloggers in this post.
Successful full-time bloggers are spending many hours each day gathering materials and researching a certain matter. For example, if the evil John Chow or the famous Darren Rowse, wanted to write a unique blog post (one that isn’t posted before), they must first go for in-depth research and locate actual facts before the post is published. Of course if the post is pure opinion based, it’ll take a lot less time. With the hours committed into making certain posts, it is basically working the full 40 hours a week schedule.
Do you spend over 40 hours of blogging?
Of course there are the ones that spend only40 hours or less on a blog, but there are also bloggers that choose to spend over 40 hours, resulting in overtime. This comes to the question where you must ask yourself, “Do I spend too much time blogging?”
What happens now?
Well asking the question probably brings up what do I exactly mean. As a full-time blogger, what do you do before your blog. Do you throw your blog way ahead of you because of its success and worry about stuff later or do consider other stuff a priority first? Do you wake up in the middle of the night only thinking about your blog and nothing else?
Family

Instead of blogging, spending time with family is a must. A person’s family only happens once and if you don’t spend the time with them, there will be regrets. If you’re a full-time blogger, you should give some time off your schedule and actually go have some FUN. I bold the word “fun” because fun doesn’t mean going to the park for a couple hours, walking the mall, or going out to eat. My opinion on fun is actually taking a few days off blogging and going to places the whole family decides on and not just yourself. Do not take the initiative of deciding where to go, but instead let your family decide. If you have kids, going to an amusement park or a place where kids have fun can be put into consideration. Spending time with your family would not only make your family happy, but would also make yourself happy.
Friends

Spending time with your family isn’t the final step because friends are just as important. If a friend calls you asking if you’re busy, do not tell them you’re busy when all you’re doing is blogging. Don’t miss the opportunity to go hang out with your buddies because they’re the ones that keep a person intact. Take a couple hours off a week to spend time with your friends because it’s just as important as family. To some people, friends are also considered family.
Education

Before spending so much time on blogging, every blogger should focus on education first. Not every person can become a successful blogger whether you’re blogging full-time or part-time. Education should always be put into consideration first because without proper studies, you’re never a fully successful person.
Getting some “FRESH AIR”
Lastly, put everything down and go out to have some fresh air. Take some time off from everything and go to a park or your backyard and just sit there to relax. Take a moment to think of everything you have and don’t let it slip away from you. The fresh air will relax you from anything that happened during the week of work. After having some fresh air, blogging should be more of a breeze than some stressful work.

Nice Blog + Nice Friends!! ;)) Peace*

Interesting point.
I (on the contrary) have recently seen a huge number of blogs with great content and almost no monetization.
Sometimes I wonder how much time the author has spent researching and writing the article without expecting (or looking for) anything in return.
Except a few thanks and compliments.
I see so much effort put into this blogging game and so little return on investment. (as Problogger revealed in one of the recent posts about how much bloggers earn)

Tomaz from Financial Freedom Ideas » Well, everyone has their own opinions. I certainly don’t think that people should try to make huge incomes from blogging as blogging is suppose to be a fun thing to do. Some blogs go overboard and forget how they get to where they are. Leaving little blogs behind is a no no.

Ya!.
We have seen many young bloggers popping into this area wishing to become young rich men. This is a thing to worry!.Most of these bloggers are neglecting studies(only few of them really study).
Added to that are a good list of tips to say “Blogging is just a part of life”
