I recently jumped on the chance to do a guest post for Mike. I have been following his blog for a couple of months and have subscribed to his feed. Being a SAHM (Stay At Home Mom) of two very active toddlers, everyday is like entering a different battlefield. Everyday we face many different challenges and trials, but sometimes it leaves one simply suffocated and choking for breathe. Besides being literally 24/7 on call and having to play multiple roles at a time, there is little chance for us to release the pent up stress and anxiety that builds us within us.
Blogging is the best outlet I have found to channel all the negative energy that builds up within the day. Many of my mommy friends agree that blogging has been therapeutic for them too.
What blogging does for me:
1. It gives me an outlet to vent my frustrations that I currently face by writing. Only the keyboard faces your mercy instead of taking out your anger on your family members.
2. Helps me seek instant solace/help from the virtual community who have experienced similar encounters and receive feedback when problems crop up.
3. Seeing my feelings/thoughts written down in words on screen allows me to collect my thoughts and mediate on the actions that I have taken or to be taken. It makes me reflect on my actions and helps me internalize my feelings.
4. It is something that I can do anytime of the day when I get spare time or inspiration.
5. Helps me chronically record down the growth and milestones of my children and share with the rest of the family/relatives.
6. Allows me to sort out my thoughts, queries, and choose what to focus on for the week.
7. Helps me efficiently store away useful bytes of information online for easy recall in the future. It really beats recording down important facts on paper, which could be torn or misplaced in the house. It is also more eco-friendly.
I try to blog daily if possible. After blogging, it does help me feel more refreshed, relaxed, and ready to face the never ending battles relating to childrearing.

[...] month I tried out guest posting at Bloggin-Ads. It was the 1st time I did a guest post. It was definately a fun thing to do. It took me a few days [...]
She’s a super mom!
“Being literally 24/7 on call” and blogging at the same time is very difficult to do!
I identify myself easily to point 1. and 3.
I think she belongs to a “new-mom generation”, because only five years ago blogging was not a very common thing.
My last blog post is..Win a Digital Camcorder
I can’t imagine how tough it would be to blog regularly with kids around. It’s bad enough with just pets!
