Background - BlogMunch’s About Page

For this review here, we’re not going to disclose his real name, but all of you may refer to him as B-munch. Living in Singapore with his wife and two kids, B-munch decided to start BlogMunch to have a place to share his knowledge of blogging. Most blogs these days publish posts purely on blogging, so B-munch explores different aspects of the blogosphere:

  • Writing
  • Domaining
  • Themes and Plugins
  • Flash Games
  • Forums
  • Advertisements
  • Monetizing Techniques

What exactly does BlogMunch have to offer?

BlogMunch receives a new published post once a day that is about a totally different subject. Although B-munch tries to keep on his main topic, Blogging, he entertains readers by posting about different websites that are being offered. His recent post was about a flash game that he found online. I gotta say that the game is very addicting. I ended up playing that flash game for 20minutes or so.

Besides the commotion I just made about the “flash game”, I stumbled upon his post about selling a blog. Unlike the other posts I’ve been reading about BloggingFingers and One Man’s Goal’s blog sale, B-munch talked about blog sales involved in the community rather than the money itself. Besides occasional misspellings and grammar problems, I gotta say BlogMunch is some pretty decent reading.

What else is the B-Munch trying to provide?

B-Munch uses his blog to offer domains that are up for sale. The domains range from various categories and you may contact him if you’re interested. Apart from trying to earn some money from domain sales, B-Munch provides a couple wordpress themes for download.

What does Bloggin-Ads have to say?

B-Munch needs to fix the blog theme. I don’t know if it’s just me, but the sponsor ads seem to pull the page to the right, which results in the side scroll. Another thing I would like to mention is that the blog should focus more on a specific category and not everything as a whole. If different categories is B-Munch’s way to go, I would suggest having more posts each day, so readers become more entertained.

Hi Mike,

An honest and in-depth review. I agree I need to change my blog theme. But as this theme have quite a few scripts running, to transfer it to another theme can be a hassle.

But I will find some time to do it. Thanks for the review.

You’re very welcome B-Munch. I try to stay as honest as I can on the reviews, but as you can tell, unlike other blogs that review with negative comments, I try to stay as positive as possible. Knowing the PROS about a blog is the number one priority on the reviews I do. Us bloggers shouldn’t focus on the CONS and instead focus more on the PROS.
