Quality Over Quantity, Is It Optional?
Blog Reviews, Blogging, Education & Training, Everything, Money Making, SEO Add comments
When you choose the path of becoming a blogger, you must first know what you’re putting yourself against. Ok, I do admit that I did not read the blogging eBooks or blogging for success type of posts, but I do highly suggest it before you continue. Of course you’re now wondering why I am asking you to read about blogging before the actual blogging and it is because many of you guys still don’t understand the concepts of it. The point I’m going to bring up related to this is your blog “visitors” or should I say “uniques”. When trying to keep a constant readership, bloggers try all different type of techniques and one of them is posting constantly. What if this method is the wrong way to go?
Quantity of posts isn’t always want readers want and judging by the current blogosphere, quantity is not going to be needed as much now. There are so many blogs that if you post something, somewhere in the blogosphere, there is a similar post to yours. This is why a bloggers should focus more on quantity because quantity allows more in-depth posts that explains things more thoroughly. Here at Bloggin-Ads, we’re already lowering down the quantity of posts because we feel that quality is what is really needed. Just take a look at all the comments I get now
Others are starting to join in to this strategy now too!
Background - BAYB’s About Page
This is probably the first blog I’ve ever reviewed that does not have just ONE blogger, but consists of many different authors that provides their own unique posts. Because there are so many authors, I really don’t know who to write a background of and not to mention there isn’t much of an “about” page :). If you wish to take a look at all the authors, feel free to do so here. I mean, I even see Garry Conn in the list of authors, so this blog must be good
BAYB chooses to seek talented bloggers out there to give everyone a chance to receive some traffic and of course, the backlink.
Quality over Quantity
Focusing on quality over quantity is the key thing to remember when blogging and that’s what BAYB is providing. Yes, there is a least one post a day on the blog, which is already more than me, but they’re able to keep the same amount of readership and keep it cool. The fact that people want quality is true because it brings in valuable viewers and not one-time viewers that most social bookmarking sites bring, including Entrecard.
After much digging into BAYB, I’ve noticed that the blog truly provides what it says, which is “blogging”. I mean, come on, there aren’t even much ads on this blog, so reading without getting distracted should be a breeze.
BAYB ranges in many different categories which start anywhere from blogging tips, affiliate marketing, and SEO tips and tools to making money online, social media and networking, and blogging news. Now with that said, I would like you guys to give BAYB a try and take a look at these very well written posts and remember, QUALITY.
- Quick way to make your long posts more readable
- Promoting and Earning Money with Affiliate Programs
- Blogging Zoom vs John Chow
After this review, I’m sure you guys would want to take a look, but make sure you subscribe to BAYB’s RSS feed because they provide what bloggers need.

thanks for the review, yeah maybe the about section needs a little sprucing up.
Ha, the fact that it’s a quality blog is highly debatable. But, good review nonetheless.
Gaaaahhhh! I’ve been trying to access you guys for a few days now (maybe even over a week!) and everytime I get here firefox just tells me it can’t connect to your server! And even now, the connection is made only on every other refresh?! What’s going on?? I’ve missed so many posts already! lol
As for something that’s actually related to this post… I don’t know… If Quality means that each post is longer… I’d prefer Quantity. I hate scrolling to finish reading an entire post - unless it’s a good post. And what I find more often are that people who post less often, but write longer posts… well… their posts are boring. But of course there are always exceptions to the rule - like you guys ;D
@fragileheart - I apologize, my hosting company has been having problems with DDOS attacks and I could barely update my blog as well. Everything should be fine now and I’m considering to move over to a more dedicated server
Thanks for sticking with Bloggin-Ads!

i really love the way you post in your blog.. always with a nice image.. and very interesting topics. Good luck
I am a subscriber over at BAYB and I haven’t been disappointed one bit! Nice review.
What an article! I have been looking at other blogs related to mine and what I find is there seems to be this common post, almost all the blogs that feature movies have the same post on a regular basis. Yes, quality is more important than quantity. I think readers may want a variety of posts, but would react/comment to post that are well-researched, and very interesting.
I dont think theres a right or wrong asnwer to that one, Seriously Before I started to think about blogging for money I had and still do have my own personal blog. sometimes I’d blog a few days a week other times I’d blog many times during the day (weekends mostly.) Were my posts quality posts to me they were, was the quantity, yup i’d say so. Sure some feed reader types might get miffed at this, hey they can unsubscribe at any time, doesnt change what I feel like doing. Which is thinkis more important in the long run. Eys I know theres the 80-20 rule and that guy who that book work 4 hrs a week. Each to their own huh. Who decided what blog quality was or is anyways and who are they to tell me what to do. If I FEEL like its helpful then it is, because I’m the one writing it NO? I feel like what Im writing is going to help someone figure something out then it is quality. I feel like ranting then its quality. Who doesnt like a good rant every now and again
Great topic gets my blood boiling!!!
